The International Engineering Fair is an event at which countless new products and solutions have been presented over the course of its more than fifty years. This makes it the ideal platform for the presentation of topical issues. Energy – and Energy for the Future to be specific – is to be one the principal topics at this year’s event. This is a new multi-project to be held at a number of the trade fairs held at Brno Exhibition Centre.
Words such as energy savings, renewable sources of energy and energy passive are currently all the rage, and this applies twofold in engineering and related fields. The principal topics considered by Energy for the Future include nuclear energy, the safety of energy supplies – practical solutions and ecological aspects, alternative sources of energy – gas, biomass, photovoltaics and wind farms, energy savings, and energy self-sufficiency – the state energy concept.
There were a great many solutions to be seen in practice at last year’s International Engineering Fair, such as photovoltaics and energy-saving solutions in engineering. This is to continue at this year’s fair – the range of products and services to be seen on the exhibitors’ stands include traditional power engineering and nuclear energy, nuclear engineering, alternative sources of energy for the business sphere, and measurement, control, automation and regulation technology featured together within the project Automation.
Energy for the Future at MSV is to focus, first and foremost, on presenting innovative industrial technology for increasing competitiveness and reducing the impact on the environment, with an emphasis on renewable sources of energy, energy self-sufficiency and energy savings. The accompanying programme is to feature a number of conferences considering such topics as nuclear energy and alternative sources in relationship to industrial concerns.
The 52nd International Engineering Fair is to be held 13 – 17 September concurrently with the 7th International Machine Tools Exhibition IMT, the 13th International Foundry Fair FOND-EX, the 20th International Welding Engineering Fair WELDING, the 3rd International Surface Technology Fair PROFINTECH, and the 10th International Fair of Personal Protective Equipment, Health and Safety at Work INTERPROTEC. These events are also to be accompanied by the International Fair of Investment & Business Opportunities and Regional Development URBIS INVEX and (on 14 – 15 September) the specialised ICT & Business Conference INVEX FORUM.
