| A new model line of INK-JETs CIJ marked 1210, 1510 and 1610, which brings a significant change in the ink system will be presented by JaGa spol. s r.o. at EMBAX. It is a result of close cooperation of the development centres at Videojet and WILLETT. There is a new introduction of a core which is actually a high density blender together with a filter. The core where the ink mixes with a solvent according to a pre-programmed viscosity value also filters the mixture. “That is why for example the newest model CIJ 1610 has its core exchanged only after 12.000 running hours. Compared with the regular filter exchange period after 1.500 hours this is a significant time saving on both the production lines as well as of the maintenance workers’ time or servicing costs, and especially the much wanted increase of quality and hygiene in the workplace,“ said Miloslav Janovský, head of the commercial and technical representatives of JaGa, an exclusive representative of the WILLETT and Videojet brands on the Czech and Slovak market.
Videojet and WILLETT – former competitors, are now a company who bring their customers comfortable and pleasant control (WYSIWYG). „Customers who have been using a Videojet can have a keyboard control with the regular Videojet menu and a WILLETT menu keyboard can also be offered for the same device. That eliminates the disadvantage of training operators used to one brand, everything is easily accessible and understandable,“ specified Miloslav Janovský. New devices have a structured cascade equipment. The lowest line, CIJ 1210, is designated for lower outputs (3 lines) with a possibility of later extension into a periphery such as an incremental speed change reader of the imprinted product. The middle model CIJ 1510 is a higher output device (5 lines) with a possibility of easy integration into automated systems as an end periphery.
Quality print even in an exposed environment with CIJ 1610
The CIJ 1610 model is designated for the highest outputs, especially for wet or dusty, because it has an active overpressure protective atmosphere with its own source of pressured air. Technical atmosphere is injected into the imprinting head where it streams out through the perforated head without harmful turbulences. This adjustment contributed to the increased printing quality on all output levels. The technical atmosphere prolongs the time without necessary pause connected with the cleaning of the printer head. Another complete novelty is the Vapor which collects vapours from volatile substances (ink and solvent) and after liquidising brings them back where they belong, i.e. into the core. That achieves a decreased consumption of the production solvent which contributes to lowered production costs. Despite all mentioned improvements it is also interesting that energy consumption was also decreased from the original 170 W to current 120 W.
New models with lower operational costs and price help at the time of stagnation
Same as many other companies, JaGa spol. s r.o. also feels the economic attenuation. Since September 2008 there has been a general decrease of interest in both new devices as well as imprinting material such as consumption liquids. The decrease sales values are felt and so far they have been overcome by strengthened customer – supplier relations based on mutual trust. An unpleasant stagnation and decline period is now also successfully overcome by introducing the new Videojet technology which has arrived on the global market just in time. New models not only brought an increased technical niveau but also lower operational costs and when acquiring them, customers positively value also the good price which substantially differs from the previous types of devices,“ stated the JaGa company CEO JUDr. Martin Zavázal.
JaGa spol. s r.o. is a private family business which has been developing its activities in the area of imprinting and labelling technologies since 1991. They are an exclusive distributor of the WILLETT and Videojet brands on the Czech and Slovak market. The key part of the supplied portfolio consists of the contactless imprinting devices of the ink-jet type, termotransfer label printers and complete lines of label applicators. Products distributed by JaGa are used in production facilities belonging to the food processing industry, pharmaceutical, chemical, glass, automotive, electro technical and many other fields. „Users of our devices include both significant multinational companies working under international ISO norms with a priority to operate reliable, economical machinery with maximum and permanent supplier support, as well as start-up business entities who value the individual approach and the effort to optimise the solution within their possibilities,“ added the commercial and technical representative.
During their time of activity, JaGa received many awards worldwide through their supply of WILLETT devices, for example the Distributor of the Year 1993 and 1995, distributor with the most dynamic development in 1998 and 1999 or the largest one-off contract in 2002 where they were commissioned by a Czech user to supply a total of 77 ink-jet devices. The above mentioned results were also the reason why JaGa was subsequently, already as part of the Danaher group, was commissioned to also represent the Videojet brand from the year 2005. |
