Farmers from new EU countries require equal conditions Seven years are sufficient, let the representatives of agricultural organizations of the new EU countries know Brussels from Brno. They require equal conditions in European agriculture and a sustainable European agriculture.

Shows of farm animals are of an individual magic Hall H and its adjacent spaces belong to breeders these days. At the TECHAGRO Fair live exhibits of the most various breeds of horned cattle, pigs, sheep and goats can be seen. The show of farm animals, staged as usual by the breeding center GENOSERVIS, attracted, in particular on Sunday, a high number of families with children and since Monday it can also boast of an ever rising number of trade visitors.

The 4th Central-European Veterinary Congress opened The first day of the Congress, staged on the occasion of the ANIMAL VETEX Fair, dealt with food safety. A more quality cooperation among veterinarians and breeders as well as a more consistent implementation of health recovering programs of animals which positively affect not only food safety, but also breed economy are necessary.

Biomass is a topic of the future To the graphic symbols of this year’s fairs another has been added, i.e. BIOMASS. It proves an increased attention attracted by the organizers to the topical theme – renewable energy sources. For this reason a series of lectures are staged on the topic Biomass in agriculture and forestry.

Bee-Keeper exhibition is in the centre of interest Hall D of the Brno Exhibition Centre hosts a Big Exhibition of Bee-Keepers which offers interesting exhibits and a number of bee products incl. unusual honey beer. Also a series of specialist lectures was of interest, staged in fully crowded conference room A of the Congress Center.

Awards for the best exhibits For this year’s competitions Grand Prix TECHAGRO, Grand Prix ANIMAL VETEX and Grand Prix SILVA REGINA, exhibitors have entered a record number of 76 exhibits. A fourteen-member international Jury of Assessment chose fourteen best of them which were awarded at the ceremonial opening of the fairs.

TECHAGRO 2010 – Agricultural Fair in the Czech Republic promises a great show again Despite the ongoing economical crisis, preparations for the significant European agricultural fair TECHAGRO look very positive. Expert associations associating the main exhibitors have confirmed their cooperation with the trade fair administration. The range of the fair in the fields of agricultural, forestry and veterinary technology is to be preserved and the exhibition grounds will be filled with technologies, machinery, accessories and live exhibits. After two years, companies are taking the opportunity to present their novelties and services to tens of thousands of visitors from the Czech Republic and abroad.

The World Exhibition of Game Management and Hunting Development in Brno resumes the hundred-year tradition Trade Fairs Brno will host the gamekeeping event of the year – the World Exhibition of Game Management and Hunting Development Brno 2010, which will remind the hundredth jubilee of the world exhibition from Vienna. Gamekeepers, hunters and breeders from almost 25 countries will be presenting the development of their fields from 1910 to the present at Brno Exhibition Centre from 21st to 28th March 2010.
