The temperature is measured through the use of a stick probe with wireless transmission of the measured values into a control unit. As the control unit can man use a personal computer. In this procedure it is possible to decrease the time needed for temperature measurement and the recording of measured values is much easier. Moreover, the service of apparatus is simple and reliable. The apparatus facilitates easy archiving of measured values so they are available for inspection authorities. The apparatus may be also used for measurement of other physical values (e.g. air moisture, air oxygen content, compost moisture).
